講座について About Us 法医学とは、「法律上問題となる医学的事項を検査・研究し、それによって問題点を解明して、法律的な解決に寄与することを目的とする医学」です。死因究明・身元特定のための法医解剖を行う、医学の中でも少し特殊な分野に携わっているのが、我々法医学教室です。山形大学医学部法医学講座では、山形県警察や海上保安部の嘱託により解剖鑑定などの業務を行っております。 法医学のカバーする範囲はさらに多岐にわたり、医学的・科学的知見を要する法律上の問題に対して考察を行っております。 これらの業務から得られた知見は学生への教育や研究の手がかりとなり、学生が将来、臨床医になった時に必要となる法医学の知識を身につけるために役立てています。 医学部3年次の研究室配属などを通じて、実際の法医学の世界を体験したい学生の受け入れも行っております。 Forensic medicine is a medical science that aims to investigate and research legally problematic medical matters, thereby clarifying problems and contributing to legal solutions. Forensic medicine department is involved in a somewhat unique field of medicine, performing forensic autopsies of "unnatural corpses" to determine the identity and the cause of death. The forensic medicine course at Yamagata University School of Medicine performs autopsy appraisals and other tasks at the request of the Yamagata Prefectural Police and Sakata Coast Guard Office. The scope of forensic medicine is even broader and we consider legal issues that require medical and scientific knowledge. The knowledge gained from these tasks serves as a clue for education and research for students and helps them acquire the forensic medicine knowledge they will need when they become clinical doctors in the future. We also accept students who want to experience the real world of forensic medicine through laboratory assignments in their third year of medicine.
