私は現在、病理形態診断全般にわたるトレーニングをつんでいます。１つの標本を見たときに、まず、必要十分な所見を正しく把握できるかどうか、これには経験的な要素が大きく関わると思いますが、複雑な像を示している場合でもそれができるか、さらにそれを論理的に組み立てて診断に到達できるか、には、難しさとともに考える楽しみがあると思います。各分野の専門家の洗練された診断過程にふれるたびに、私も少しでもそうできるようになりたいと思い、日々、いろいろなものを見ています。　また、私は、女性および男性の生殖器腫瘍に興味をもっています。現在は、なかでも、女性の卵巣に発生する男化腫瘍について、女性の卵巣になぜ男性の精巣様形態を示す腫瘍が発生するのかを、大きく形態学的側面および分子病理学的側面から検討しています。

I learn general pathology. It may be very important in pathological diagnosis whether or not one has ever seen given case or disease. In every case, however, it may be very challenging to think logically and reach a correct diagnosis. I am interested in the neoplasm of male and female reproductive organs. Particullary, I study a histogenesis of androblastoma of the ovary from both morphological and genetical aspects. I would like to elucidate the mechanism why such a neoplasm showing testicular morphology occurs in the female ovary.
